Player Profile

RANGERS secured the signing of goalkeeper Wes Foderingham on a three year deal with an option for a fourth year in July 2015.

The six-foot-one shot stopper left Swindon Town after his contract expired and Gers batted away interest from a number of English clubs to steal the 24-year-old’s signature.

Foderingham spent four years at the County Ground after Paulo Di Canio signed him following a successful loan spell.

He went on to make over 150 appearances for The Robins and impressed as the team were promoted by winning League Two in his first season.

Foderingham started his career at Fulham before signing his first professional contract with Crystal Palace in August 2010.

He was loaned out to a number of lower league clubs to gain experience including Histon and Bromley before moving to Swindon and never returning to Palace as was his impact with Town.

The London born keeper has also represented England at Under 16, 17 and 19 level and was part of the PFA League One Team of the Year for the 2012/13 season.
