THE club confirmed that Eduardo Herrera signed a three-year-deal to make him a Rangers player in June 2017.
The 28-year-old striker became Pedro Caixinha eighth signing of the summer after joining from Mexican side Pumas.
The Mexican international has been at the Liga MX side since 2007, making 186 appearances and scoring 56 times. He played there for six years before being loaned to Santos Laguna where he first joined up with current Gers boss Caixinha.
At 6’2 Herrera is a towering forward and he netted five times in 21 appearances during the 2013-14 season under the Portuguese manager. More recently he has been on loan at Veracruz, scoring three in eight. He scored 57 goals in 207 appearances in Mexico.
Herrera was capped for the first time by Mexico in March 2015 and has made nine appearances for his country, scoring three goals. He scored his first international goal in a friendly against Paraguay.
