RANGERS ocnfirmed the signing of goalkeeper Andy Firth on an 18-month deal in January 2019.
The 22-year-old shot-stopper, from Ripon in North Yorkshire, moves to Ibrox for an undisclosed fee from Barrow having made 18 appearances for the English National League side in 2018/19.
Firth started his career at Liverpool, joining the club at under-11 level and progressing through the ranks until he became a regular member of their under-23 squad.
During his years at Anfield, he worked under Steven Gerrard when the Kop legend became a youth coach, and there will be several familiar faces at the Hummel Training Centre including players Ryan Kent, Jordan Rossiter and Jon Flanagan.
First-team coach Michael Beale, technical coach Tom Culshaw and head of performance Jordan Milson also moved to Glasgow from Liverpool when Gerrard became Rangers manager.
Firth joined Barrow from Liverpool in July 2018 having previously spent five months on loan at Chester, making eleven appearances in total during his first spell in the National League.
