Tom Culshaw arrives at Rangers having previously worked with Steven Gerrard as the Under-18s assistant manager at Liverpool.
Culshaw was a talented youth player and joined the Reds after he impressed while playing for the same local Huyton teams as the new Gers boss.
Both went to the same High School and in his teens Culshaw represented England before graduating from the FA National School where he spent two years with future Anfield stars Michael Owen and Jamie Carragher.
Culshaw signed professional forms with Liverpool at the age of 17 and he progressed to reserve team captain, gaining experience alongside established players such as Jamie Redknapp, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman.
He returned to the LFC Academy in 2011 to begin coaching the club’s young players and after taking the under-12, under-13 and under-14 age groups he became the assistant manager to Gerrard with the under-18 squad in June 2017.
