Profile

Head Development Squad Coach

Graeme joined the club in August 2016 from Norwich City where he was lead under 18s coach.

Graeme, who previously coached at Southampton FC, brought a wealth of experience from both his playing and coaching career. A former Scottish internationalist, Graeme enjoyed spells with York City, Southampton, Charlton and Reading.

After coaching at both Southampton and Norwich City Graeme joins the Rangers Academy to oversee the development team and transition of players into the first team environment.  He holds his Uefa A Licence and ECAS Higher Diploma in Education.

Following the departure of Mark Warburton in February 2017, Murty became Caretaker Manager of Rangers Football Club. Taking charge of six matches, he won three, lost two and drew one – with that draw being a 1-1 result at Celtic Park with Clint Hill netting a late equaliser to hand Gers a deserved point.
