DAINA Bourma says the new-look Rangers Women’s squad are ready to work hard together ahead of an exciting 2020 campaign.
Bourma joined the Gers in September last year, and has now signed a one-year contract extension to stay in Scotland.
Speaking to RangersTV after signing the new deal, the 20-year-old said: “I am very very happy because this year is very important and very good.
“Rangers want to win a lot of competition like the Scottish Cup and maybe qualify for the Champions League and I’ve stayed here because I know with Rangers I can have this trophy.
“There are a lot of changes this year and there are a lot of new players and staff and I know we will do all we can to win.”
After five-months at the club, the Bourma says she is settling into life in Scotland and is enjoying playing in the SWPL.
“It is very different but I am good and I think Scottish football is very good and very strong and I will work every day to stay in Scottish football.
“I am very happy and very excited for the new season. We had fitness tests with the girls but I think with the new group we can win competitions and we need to work hard together ahead of the start of the season.
“I can’t wait to start, it is very exciting because it is a new challenge and a new season and I can’t wait.”
