RANGERS forward Brogan Hay has been awarded SWPL Player of the Month for August/September.
The 20-year-old is the first Rangers WFC player to lift the monthly prize following a series of impressive performances.
After picking up an injury on the final day of last season, Hay was sidelined for 10 months and only returned to the pitch in August, making the award all the more special.
She explained: “I am really pleased to get this award for August and September because they were my first two months back playing since I took a bad ankle injury in the last two months of the season last year.
“I think it was 10 months in total I was out for so I was really pleased to be nominated for the award.
“It was really difficult at the time because I didn’t expect to be out for that long but I came back and here I am, still playing.”
