RANGERS Women’s Head Coach Gregory Vignal is expecting a big game tomorrow as his side travel to Edinburgh to take on Hibs.
The Gers have won their last three league games in a row as they prepare to take on the second-placed SWPL side at Ainslie Park.
Vignal said: “I am expecting a big game and a high tempo against really good international players.
“I am thinking about Amy Muir and Jamie Lee Napier, these type of players so I expect a big game.
“I think it is good to play every three or four days, I think it is good for the girls and good for the squad so now there are five games to go and it will be tough but we have to win as many games as I can and learn from our mistakes.”
Rangers go into the game on the back of Wednesday night’s 4-3 victory over Motherwell.
Vignal added: “It’s good, we are a big club, we have to win and we have to get that type of mentality to be a winner that is part of the DNA and the philosophy I want to bring to this football club for the women. They are learning and are aware of this so I am really happy.
“I am just looking for a clean sheet because a clean sheet shows your character as well so tonight we conceded three goals so we will have a look at the video and see what we can do.
“We are hoping to increase every single department, like I said since July we want to be ready for next year so there are a lot of things to have a look at and there’s only four and a half weeks to go so we have to be strong.
The game kicks-off in Edinburgh at 4pm.
