RANGERS have added another yet another player to their squad ahead of the new Scottish Building Society SWPL season – Leah Eddie from Central.

Having recovered from a cruciate injury, Eddie has worked tirelessly to regain fitness for the new campaign. She has international experience at youth level for Scotland, and has built a strong reputation in the game as someone with bundles of talent.

Coach Amy McDonald is delighted to welcome her to the club, and is excited with the opportunity to work with her.

“We are delighted to have her on board,” said McDonald. “She is someone that is highly regarded in the game as having huge potential. Having recently suffered from an ACL rupture she is now well on her way to recovery.

“Leah did everything she could with the support of her family to be able to be fit for the start of the season. This is something that drew me even more to Leah. She was committed and disciplined in her recovery.

“She is hardworking and is always looking for ways to improve. She has recently been selected for the Scotland Under 19 squad although she is eligible for u17. We are delighted for Leah and we look forward to the season ahead which she will be a huge part of.”
