RANGERS have swooped to sign Jade Baillie from rivals Celtic ahead of their ahead of their 2018 Scottish Building Society SWPL season.
The goalkeeper joins the Light Blues ahead of the opening match of the new league season this weekend, which indecently, is against the team from the other end of town.
Coach Amy McDonald is delighted to welcome Baillie, and said: “She made the decision to leave Celtic to pursue further development opportunities and as soon as I heard this it was something I knew we could not miss out on.
“She is hardworking, committed and has a growth mindset. She is keen to push herself at the highest level and we are delighted to be able to afford her this opportunity. She is an extremely talented goalkeeper and I am excited to push forward with her and watch her grow and develop.
