ON THIS DAY in 2014, Rangers wrapped up the League One title with a win over Airdrieonians at Ibrox.

With second place Dunfermline only able to reach 78 points if they won their remaining fixtures the Light Blues became the champions of Scottish football’s third tier with eight league games to spare.

Super skipper Lee McCulloch marked the occasion by scoring a sensational first half hat-trick and although there were no more goals in the second period there was a party atmosphere throughout the 90 minutes.
