RANGERS are back in UEFA Europa League group stage action tonight with Villarreal the visitors to Ibrox on Matchday 5 – and there will be a packed 84-page souvenir programme on sale outside the stadium before kick-off.

Inside, fans can read programme notes from Rangers manager Steven Gerrard and captain James Tavernier, and there is an exclusive interview with on-loan defender Joe Worrall.

The 21-year-old stopper made his Gers debut against Villarreal in the Estadio de la Ceramica on September 20 and in the programme he reflects on his baptism of fire in Spain.

Joe is hoping to get another opportunity to perform on the big stage this evening and, having sampled the incredible Ibrox atmosphere in previous UEFA Europa League games against Rapid Vienna and Spartak Moscow, he is expecting more of the same tonight.

Also in programme:

  • Supporters can read exclusive interviews with two former Rangers players. Spanish winger Aaron Niguez gives the lowdown on Villarreal while Craig Paterson, the last Ranger to score a winning goal against Spanish opposition, remembers that rain-soaked night in 1985 when he helped Jock Wallace’s side defeat Osasuna.
  • Jon Flanagan picks the best players he has played with for ‘My Top Team’
  • Young goalkeepers Aidan McAdams and Kieran Wright take part in an Academy Twitter Q&A session
  • There is all the info on Villarreal with photos and info on every player in their Europa League squad.

PLUS – there is club historian David Mason’s archive feature, On This Day, Oppo Focus, They Played At Ibrox (Fabio Cannavaro), Match Fast Facts, a tricky quiz to test your football knowledge and Junior Gers.

All this and much more can be found in tonight’s souvenir UEFA Europa League programme, price just £3.50.
