GRAEME MURTY has made two changes to his team for today’s SPFL Premiership fixture against St Johnstone at Ibrox Stadium.
Ryan Jack returns to the midfield having been suspended for Wednesday night’s visit to Easter Road and he takes the place of 18-year-old Jamie Barjonas, who made his second start for the Light Blues against Hibs in midweek.
With Kenny Miller ruled out because of a hamstring injury, Murty has elected to bring Daniel Candeias back into his side, with the Portuguese forward making his 24th appearance of the campaign this afternoon in the interim manager’s 4-1-2-3 formation.
In front of goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is a back four of James Tavernier, Danny Wilson, captain Bruno Alves and Declan John, with 19-year-old Ross McCrorie featuring in the holding midfield role.
Jack will join Jason Holt in the middle of the park and in in front of them will be an attacking trio of Candeias, Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos.
Joining Barjonas on the Rangers bench today are Liam Kelly, Lee Hodson, David Bates, Niko Kranjcar, Eduardo Herrera and Ryan Hardie.
