RANGERS make three changes as they bid to reach the League Cup semi-finals against Partick Thistle.

Declan John and Carlos Pena make their first starts for the club while Jak Alnwick starts in goal after Pedro Caixinha declared the Betfred Cup to be the goalkeeper’s competition this season.

The injured Lee Wallace makes way for Cardiff City loanee John, who played close to 80 minutes of the Gers 2-2 draw in the same location, Firhill, on Friday evening.

Wes Foderingham and Kenny Miller also miss out, Foderingham is on the bench while the manager said in his media conference on Monday that Miller would be afforded a day off.
