STEVEN GERRARD has made three changes to his team for this afternoon’s SPFL Premiership match against Aberdeen at Ibrox Stadium.
Greg Stewart returns to the Rangers side to make his third start of the season and Steven Davis and Nikola Katic have also been named in the manager’s eleven.
From the team that started against Livingston in midweek, Joe Aribo is out as he recovers from a head knock and Filip Helander and Glen Kamara drop to the bench today.
In goals Allan McGregor makes his 15th competitive appearance of the campaign and in front of the club’s number one is a back four featuring captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Katic and Borna Barisic.
Ahead of this quartet Davis is expected to join Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield in the midfield with Sheyi Ojo and Stewart providing support to main striker Alfredo Morelos, who will be looking to add to the 12 competitive goals he has scored so far this term.
Joining Edmundson and Kamara on the Gers bench are Wes Foderingham, Jermain Defoe, Andy Halliday, Brandon Barker and Andy King.
