STEVEN GERRARD has made three changes to his starting XI for the League Cup clash with Kilmarnock.

Allan McGregor, Ryan Jack and Daniel Candeias drop out from the side that drew with Maribor in Slovenia.

They are replaced by Wes Foderingham, Borna Barisic and Ryan Kent in the starting line up at Rugby Park.

It’s Foderingham’s first competitive action of the season, while Kent returns to the first eleven after a substitute appearance on Thursday in Slovenia.

Barisic’s return will see him slot in to the left side of defence, with Halliday moving in to a more familiar midfield role alongside Ovie Ejaria and Scott Arfield.

McGregor drops out of the match day 18, while Jack and Candeias take their places on the bench, alongside a returning Jon Flanagan

Rangers: Foderingham; Tavernier, Goldson, Katic, Barisic; Halliday, Ejaria, Arfield; Kent, Murphy, Morelos
Subs: Alnwick, Flanagan, McCrorie, Jack, Candeias, Middleton, Sadiq
