KENNY MILLER reckons helping Rangers back to the top flight of Scottish Football is among the highlights of his football career.

The striker has bagged 19 goals this season, and he has paid tribute to the efforts made by so many in getting the side back to where they think they belong.

He explained:  “It’s right up there. We said all season we wanted to get the club back to the top flight, and we’ve done that with something to spare.

“I’m absolutely delighted with how the team have gone this year, and its all credit to the Gaffer, Davie and Big Jim, and the constant messages they’ve been putting across to the players.

“They wanted us to enjoy it and play a certain type of football, and the lads have really responded. If you speak to anyone in that dressing room, they will have thoroughly enjoyed this season.

“It’s not finished yet though, and we have a couple of league games and the Cup Final, and we want to finish the season on a real high.

“Winning the Cup would make it a fantastic season. You always say at the start of a season that you want to win every competition, but to win the League, Petrofac and then to win the Scottish Cup and obviously qualify for Europe by doing that – what a fantastic season that would make it for everyone involved.

“I’ve really enjoyed it, and the manner in which we began the season told me if I played regularly I would always get goals.

“Hopefully I can get to 20 to make it a great season personally, but it’s been all about the team.”
