STEVEN GERRARD has named six changes to his starting XI as Rangers return to Scottish Premiership action tonight at home to St Mirren.

Over three weeks have passed since Gers last took to the field in the league, but they have been working hard in the Dubai sunshine to be ready for tonight, while one competitive match has already been played – the Light Blues defeating Stranraer here at Ibrox on Friday night.

From the team which faced the League One outfit, out go Wes Foderingham, Nathan Patterson, George Edmundson, Andy Halliday, Scott Arfield and Jordan Jones,

In come Allan McGregor, Jon Flanagan, captain for the evening Connor Goldson, Borna Barisic, Glen Kamara and Ryan Kent.

Kamara joins Steven Davis and Ryan Jack in midfield, while Joe Aribo and Kent will support Jermain Defoe.

All six who miss-out tonight are on the bench tonight alongside Sheyi Ojo.

It’s a 7:45pm kick-off here in the Southside, with live coverage available on RangersTV. Join Tom Miller and Andy Little if you’re outside the UK.

RANGERS: McGregor, Flanagan, Goldson, Katic, Barisic; Jack, Davis, Kamara; Aribo, Defoe, Kent.

SUBS: Foderingham, Edmundson, Halliday, Jones, Arfield, Ojo, Patterson.
