RANGERS are back in Scottish Cup action at Ibrox tonight with Kilmarnock the visitors, and fans will be able to get their hands on an official match programme outside the stadium in the build-up to kick-off.

Inside, there is a great exclusive interview with Connor Goldson ahead of the fifth round replay against Steve Clarke’s men and there are also interviews with former Ibrox stars Bobby Russell and Steven Smith and Cammy Palmer, the captain of the club’s Reserve side.

Goldson endured a frustrating start to 2019 as he recovered from an ankle injury but he is now delighted to be back in action.

Bobby Russell remembers the incredible 1978/79 season when Rangers beat Kilmarnock in a fourth-round replay on their way to winning the Scottish Cup while former Gers and Killie defender Steven Smith reflects on his years at both clubs and chats about the future having started his own academy for young players.

Palmer, meanwhile, gives his thoughts on his own progress in Graeme Murty’s Reserves and being the leader in a team which has featured several experienced first-team stars in recent games.

Also in tonight’s programme, you can read manager Steven Gerrard and captain James Tavernier‘s programme notes ahead of the big match. There is also On This Day, Match Fast Facts, club historian David Mason‘s archive feature, They Played at Ibrox, a tricky quiz to test your football knowledge and Junior Gers.

All this and much more can be found in your official Rangers v Kilmarnock Scottish Cup programme, price £3.50.
