STEVEN GERRARD has named the same starting XI which defeated Bury in last Friday’s friendly for this evening’s Europa League clash with FK Shkupi.

Rangers won that game 6-0, and Gerrard has retained faith in the same players for tonight’s sold-out game with the Macedonian side.

That means it’s Allan McGregor in goal for his first competitive start after returning to Gers in the summer.

James Tavernier, who Gerrard has confirmed as his club captain, is at right-back with the back line also seeing competitive debuts for Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson and Jon Flanagan.

Ross McCrorie is ahead of them, along with another debutant in Scott Arfield, Daniel Candeias, Jamie Murphy, Josh Windass and Alfredo Morelos.

There’s a place on the bench for Ovie Ejaria, and there, he is joined by sub keeper Jak Alnwick, Greg Docherty, Ryan Jack, Declan John, Andy Halliday and Glenn Middleton.

It’s a 7.45pm kick-off here at Ibrox tonight, and all the action is live on RangersTV outside the UK. Join Tom Miller and Gregory Vignal for full coverage.

RANGERS: McGregor, Tavernier, Katic, Goldson, Flanagan, McCrorie, Arfield, Candeias, Murphy, Windass, Morelos.

SUBS: Alnwick, John, Jack, Docherty, Halliday, Ejaria, Middleton.
