JORDAN ROSSITER featured for England U19s as they came from behind to defeat Holland at the European Championships.

The Gers midfielder anchored the English engine room as the Young Lions fired back from going a goal behind within the first ten minutes to secure their spot in the semi finals with a game to spare.

The win against Holland not only secures their place in the semis with a game against Croatia to spare, it means that they have qualified for the under-20 World Cup next year.

PSV forward Sam Lammers opened the scoring for the Dutch on ten minutes, before Dominic Solanke scored for England in the thirty-sixth minute of the match to level it up.

The game remained deadlocked into added time before Isaiah Brown struck in the second minute of time added on to secure the 2-1 win for England. Rossiter was bright during the game and was unlucky to not grab the equaliser for England not long after Holland had taken the lead.

Next up for England are Croatia on Monday 18th July, kicking off at 11am.
