RANGERS can today confirm Robby McCrorie has moved to Livingston on-loan until the end of the season.

The Scotland under-21 goalkeeper has spent the first half of the season continuing his development at Championship outfit Queen of the South under the management of former Gers players Allan Johnston and Sandy Clark.

McCrorie has made 24 first team appearances for the Doonhamers, where he was named fans’ player of the month three times in a row.

Robby will move to Livi to claim the number one jersey, playing in the Ladbrokes Premiership, and will go straight in to contention to start in their home match against St Johnstone on Wednesday night.

He is a regular in the aforementioned national under-21 squad with seven caps so far, and is set to play a major role as they attempt to qualify for the final tournament in Hungary and Slovenia next year.

Rangers would like to place on record our thanks to Queen of the South for the way they have enhanced Robby’s development in the first half of this season.
