RANGERS are today delighted to confirm Andy King has joined the club on a season loan.
The midfielder joins up with the squad from Leicester for the 2019/20 campaign, subject to international clearance.
King is a Welsh international and has won 50 caps, including playing in the team that reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Euro 2016.
He is Leicester’s top scoring midfielder and has played over 375 times for the club winning championships in the top three divisions in England, including the memorable Premiership title win in 2016.
King has been at Brendan Rogers’ Leicester for his whole professional career, barring two loan moves to Swansea City and Derby County.
The midfielder becomes the tenth signing of the summer for Steven Gerrard after bringing in Steven Davis, Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie, Greg Stewart, Sheyi Ojo, George Edmundson, Joe Aribo, Filip Helander and most recently, Brandon Barker.
