RANGERS currently have six players out on loan across Scotland, although the weather prevented a number of them from seeing any action.

Liam Kelly was once again between the sticks for East Fife as they pulled-off a superb 4-2 win at giant-killers Annan Athletic on Saturday.

Annan, who had defeated Hamilton Accies 4-1 the previous week in the Scottish Cup, went into the game as favourites, but the Fifers were four to the good at the interval thanks to Jamie Insall, Nathan Austin, Jason Kerr and Kyle Wilkie.

Greig McDonald pulled two goals back in the last five minutes for the home side, but it remained a highly impressive result for Kelly’s side.

Elsewhere, Robbie Crawford‘s Alloa Athletic and Luca Gasparotto‘s Morton went head to head at the Indodrill Stadium, but that game was abandoned on 67 minutes with the home side leading 1-0 thanks to a Michael Duffy goal.

Tom Walsh‘s Dumbarton and Andy Murdoch‘s Queen of the South were also set to go head to head at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium, but that match failed to beat a pitch inspection.

Darren Ramsay also no action as Arbroath’s trip over the border to face Berwick Rangers also failed to beat the weather.
