RANGERS have players out on loan in Scotland, England and beyond. Here’s a look at how they got on over the weekend…
HARRY FORRESTER – AFC WIMBLEDON
Harry played 76 minutes of the Wimbledon’s 3-1 loss to fellow League One strugglers Northampton Town. Town’s three goals featured a strike from former Ger Matt Crooks. The result moves Harry’s side one point off the relegation places.
CARLOS PENA – CRUZ AZUL
Carlos was forced off in the 45th minute of Cruz Azul’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Necaxa. He clashed with a rival player and suffered a sprain to his right ankle. The midfielder now faces up to two weeks out. The result moved his side down to 14th in Liga MX.
JORDAN THOMPSON – LIVINGSTON
Jordan had an afternoon to forget as he was sent off in Livi’s 0-0 draw with Dunfermline Athletic. The midfielder saw red for his challenge on Andy Ryan midway through the second half.
RYAN HARDIE – LIVINGSTON
Ryan played 81 minutes of the Lions draw but the striker couldn’t find the net. The result was still an important one as it moved Livi closer to league leaders St Mirren, the Saints are still 14 points clear at the top though.
AIDAN WILSON – DUMBARTON
Aidan’s first game of his emergency loan to the Sons didn’t go to plan as Greenock Morton put three past his new team. The centre-half played the full 90 minutes, picking up a yellow card in the process.
MYLES BEERMAN – QUEEN OF THE SOUTH
Myles is still recovering from the injury which has now kept him out of Queens last two games. They were beaten 2-0 by league leaders St Mirren in his absence.
ROBBY MCCRORIE – BERWICK RANGERS
Robby conceded once as Berwick moved down to eight in League Two with a 1-0 defeat to Clyde. Clyde has six shots on target for the young keeper to deal with and he was awarded his sixth Man of the Match gong of the season for his display.
ROSS LYON – STRANRAER
Stranraer had a weekend off league duties.
KIERAN WRIGHT – ALBION ROVERS
Kieran and Albion Rovers had the weekend off in League One.
