TAKE a look at how the Rangers players currently out on loan spells got on at their clubs over the weekend.
MATT CROOKS – SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Matt made his sixth appearance for the Iron as they lost 2-0 against Fleetwood but more importantly it was the midfielder’s first 90 minutes of football for a year since his ankle injury last March. The 23-year-old went out on loan to get some valuable game time after being plagued by injury so Saturday marked a big step for him in his return to full fitness. The 23-year-old went close to finding the net in the defeat but Fleetwood keeper Alex Cairns pulled off a fine save to repel his close-range header.
RYAN HARIDE – RAITH ROVERS
Raith weren’t in league action over the weekend but Ryan did play the entirety of Rovers mid-week loss to Ayr United. It was a game which became synonymous with outfield player Jason Thomson starting in goal for Raith. The defender wore former Gers keeper Cammy Bell’s gloves after finding them in the boot of Ryan’s car!
JORDAN THOMPSON – RAITH ROVERS
Jordan was an unused sub against Ayr in mid-week.
ROSS MCCRORIE – DUMBARTON
Ross was an unused substitute as former Light Blues striker Nicky Clark netted four for Dunfermline in a 5-1 rout over the Sons.
LIAM KELLY – LIVINGSTON
Livi stayed top of the league with a 1-1 draw away to Queens Park. Liam’s side are seven points clear of second placed Alloa with a game in hand.
