MANY of Rangers’ loan players’ seasons are now at an end, but for those who are still in action, here’s our review of how they performed over the weekend…
Ryan Hardie – Livingston
Ryan came off the bench on 59 minutes for Livingston as they were defeated 1-0 at home by already relegated Dundee. The result means Livi will finish the campaign in eighth place, with their final match of the season being away to Motherwell on Saturday.
Eduardo Herrera – Necaxa
Eduardo played the full 90 minutes for Necaxa in their 1-0 defeat away to Monterrey last night. Necaxa are sixth after 17 games.
Jamie Barjonas – Raith Rovers
Jamie played 54 minutes for Raith Rovers on Saturday as they defeated Forfar on aggregate to reach the Championship play-off final. Leading 2-1 from the first leg, Rovers fell behind on 55 minutes, but fought back to re-take the lead four minutes later and seal a date with Queen of the South. The first leg takes place at Starks’ Park on Wednesday, with the return leg at Palmerston on Saturday.
Kyle Bradley – Annan Athletic
Kyle netted for Annan as they defeated Stenhousemuir 2-1 and 4-1 on aggregate to go through to the League One play-off final. His goal after just 10 minutes gave the Borderers the perfect start, and while Stenny leveled, they won the match through Steven Swinglehurst 17 minutes from time. They’ll face Clyde tomorrow and Saturday for a place in League One next season.
Serge Atakayi – SJK Seinajoki
Serge netted his first goal for SJK Seinajoki as they held HJK Helsinki to a 2-2 draw away from home. Serge’s goal on 82 minutes had his side ahead, but Helsinki equalised in stoppage time. SJK are third in the league after eight games and sit just two points off the summit.
