Aberdeen remain second in the Scottish Premiership following a comfortable victory over Ross County at Pittodrie. Jonny Hayes had the Dons ahead before Tim Chow was dismissed for a dangerous tackle for the Staggies. Shay Logan made it two before Niall McGinn and Jayden Stockley added strikes for the home side.
CELTIC 2 MOTHERWELL 0
Celtic remain top of the Scottish Premiership following a 2-0 win over Motherwell. A strong start from the hosts only brought about the one goal from Scott Sinclair before Moussa Dembele completed the victory with a penalty three minutes from time.
HEARTS 2 DUNDEE 0
Hearts are third in the Scottish Premiership after a hard-fought win over Dundee. Despite dominating the opening half, it took until the 68th minute for them to open the scoring through Callum Paterson before Bjorn Johnsen settled matters late-on. Dundee are now bottom of the Premiership.
PARTICK THISTLE 2 HAMILTON ACCIES 2
Partick moved off the bottom of the table despite being held at home by Hamiton Accies. Massimo Donati put the visitors ahead before Ryan Edwards header leveled matters. Liam Lindsay put the Jags ahead but Eamonn Brophy rescued a point for the Lanarkshire outfit.
ST JOHNSTONE 0 KILMARNOCK 1
Kilmarnock ended their six-match winless run with a surprise victory over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. Scott Boyd’s goal 14 minutes from time secured the points for the Ayrshiremen to move them into ninth in the table.
