RANGERS returned to second with their win at Ross County yesterday – here’s a look at how the rest of the results went this weekend in the Premiership.
Aberdeen 3-1 Kilmarnock
Aberdeen bounced back from their defeat to Rangers by coming from behind against Kilmarnock at Pittodrie.
Kris Boyd had the visitors ahead early on but a Scott McKenna double and one from Niall McGinn turned the game around.
Celtic 1-0 Hibernian
A Leigh Griffiths goal saw Celtic retain their 11-point lead at the top of the table. The Scotland striker netted in the first half, but Celtic had to withstand some significant pressure from Hibs as the game went on to seal the three points.
Hamilton 1-2 Dundee
Dundee netted a 98th-minute winner at Hamilton Accies to ease their relegation fears. A Mark O’Hara own-goal after just two minutes had Accies in front, but after David Templeton was red carded, Matthew Henvey equalised with 13 minutes left.
A-Jay Leitch-Smith then grabbed a winner deep into injury-time to lift the Dens Park club to 10th in the Premiership.
Hearts 1-1 Motherwell
Motherwell ended Hearts’ long clean sheet record with a 96th-minute equaliser at Tynecastle.
David Milinkovic had Hearts in front with 10 minutes to go, but Curtis Main poked the ball over the line in stoppage time to end the Jambos’ eight-game clean sheet run.
St Johnstone 1-3 Partick Thistle
Partick Thistle won on the road for the first time in 17 attempts at St Johnstone on Saturday. Steven Lawless and Conor Sammon had them 2-0 up before Liam Craig pulled one back from the penalty spot.
Ryan Edwards then sealed the points for the Maryhill men in injury time.
