RANGERS manager Mark Warburton has made a raft of changes to his side from the one that faced Hamilton on Saturday.

At the back, Matt Gilks comes in to replace Wes Foderingham for his third start of the season after featuring against Annan Athletic and East Stirlingshire.

In front of him, Lee Wallace is rested for the match with Northern Irishman Lee Hodson coming to replace him at left back, also to make his third start of the campaign.

Prior to tonight, the captain made 69 consecutive competitive appearances for the Light Blues, the last game he missed being a 1-1 draw with Falkirk on February 27, 2015.

Rob Kiernan will captain the side alongside Clint Hill, while James Tavernier completes the back four after impressing against Accies at the weekend.

Jordan Rossiter comes in to make his first start in a Light Blues jersey in the midfield, alongside Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar.

Up top, Michael O’Halloran makes his fifth appearance for the Gers this season, with Harry Forrester also handed a start having changed the game after coming on in Saturday’s draw.. Joe Dodoo will lead the line for the Light Blues, making his first start for Mark Warburton following his transfer this summer.

The bench is made up of Wes Foderingham, Jason Holt, Kenny Miler, Andy Halliday, Barrie McKay and David Bates, who last week joined the club on-loan from Raith Rovers.

Danny Wilson would have made tonight’s squad but misses out through a virus.
