STEVEN GERRARD has named one change to his Rangers side for this afternoon’s Betfred Cup semi-final with Aberdeen at Hampden.
An outstanding 32,000 Rangers fans will cram into the National Stadium today to see if Gerrard can lead the Light Blues to their first League Cup Final in almost eight years.
From the side which was held 0-0 by Spartak Moscow at Ibrox in the Europa League in midweek, Gerrard brings in Umar Sadiq for the suspended Alfredo Morelos.
That means it’s the same back five of Allan McGregor in goals, the captain James Tavernier at right-back, Connor Goldson and Joe Worrall in the centre of defence with Jon Flanagan at left-back.
Ryan Jack, Lassana Coulibaly and Ovie Ejaria are in midfield, with Daniel Candeias and Ryan Kent providing support to Sadiq.
On the bench for the Light Blues are Wes Foderingham, Andy Halliday, Jordan Rossiter, Nikola Katic, Eros Grezda, Scott Arfield and Glenn Middleton.
RANGERS: McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Worrall, Flanagan; Jack, Coulibaly, Ejaria; Kent, Candeias, Sadiq.
SUBS: Foderingham, Halliday, Rossiter, Katic, Grezda, Arfield, Middleton.
