SHEYI OJO says that the Gers were disappointed to not score more goals tonight but happy to have got a result.

Speaking after tonight’s match, Ojo said: “The main objective today was to get a result today and then keep us in a good aggregate ahead of the second leg.

“I feel that we’ve done that, but obviously we are disappointed beacuse we could have scored more but we are looking forward to the next game.

“We were one up at half time and the gaffer has told us that he wants us to go and get more goals.

“Luckily enough I was able to help the team with the second goal, but like I said we were disappointed to not get more goals.

“We’ve got to take the positives from the game and look forward to the next leg.”

Ojo grabbed his first competitive goal at Ibrox in tonight’s Europa League match and he was delighted to score at a packed Ibrox.

He continued: “We’ve been working a lot on short corners in training and (Steven) Davis has given me the ball and you know, the gaffer and everyone are always telling me to express myself when I get the ball and I was able to do that and luckily it went in.”

“It was amazing. You can tell by my reaction and my celebration that I am happy to help the team as much as I can.

“Obviously scoring in the first game and then again today, I’m just trying to help the team with goals and assists.

“We created so many chances, and we’d like to be a little bit more clinical as a team, but I think that will come as we’re still in preseason.”
