DANIEL Candeias admits he “doesn’t have words” to describe how he feels about the Rangers’ support.
The Portuguese received a standing ovation from Ibrox when he was substituted three minutes from time in the Gers 3-1 win over Hearts.
Candeias and his teammates blew the Jambos away in the first-half, scoring three in 32 minutes against the league leaders.
Speaking to RangersTV he said: “I enjoy all the games play at Ibrox, the atmosphere is fantastic and helps the players play like Thursday night and today. I am very happy.
“The team have put in good performances and have been strong. It is important that after the Europa League game in the week, you win the game.
“I don’t have words for the feeling the fans give me, I don’t have words for this moment, it is fantastic.
“I am very happy playing for these supporters and for Rangers. I think this is the best moment of my career.
“It was a hard game because Hearts are top of the league but when the team believe in themselves then we are fantastic.
“The team is fantastic, the players are together all the time, it is a funny group to be part of and it is a happy team.
Candeias contributed directly for the second time in a week, notching a second assist for an Alfredo Morelos goal. The winger’s first against Rapid Vienna for the Colombian’s 90th minute goal.
He continued: “Hearts had started so good but when this team believe we will win all the games if we play like this. I have good feelings about how the season will end if we play this way.
“I am very happy for Alfredo because he likes scoring goals, strikers like goals. I stay happy when I assist and Alfredo is a fantastic partner.”
