THE Florida Cup starts at 7pm Eastern Standard Time tonight when Corinthians take on PSV Eindhoven, and Graeme Murty and his coaching staff will travel to the Orlando City Stadium to get a glimpse of Saturday’s opponents.

The Light Blues will take on Atletico Mineiro tomorrow at the Orlando City Stadium – kick-off 7pm EST – before they face Brazilian champions Corinthians on Saturday at the Spectrum Stadium, kick-off 1pm EST.

Murty, speaking to RangersTV on Wednesday morning, said: “We are going to give the guys a little bit of free time this afternoon but we’re going to the first game.

“Corinthians are playing PSV so we are going to go and watch that up in Orlando.

We’re just going to go and have a look and see what key messages we can bring back to the players. But we would really like to bed down what we do.

“We should still want to play in a certain manner but we have to react to what they do and still be true to our principles without the ball and with the ball.

“So as long as we can see those things then I’ll be happy. Regardless of what they bring to the table we still need to see certain key aspects of how we are going to move forward.

“As long as we get those into the game I’ll be relatively happy.”
