ALFREDO MORELOS has tonight won the PFA Scotland Goal of the Season award for his strike against Aberdeen in February.

The Colombian has scored 29 goals in all competitions this season, and has already picked up the Sam English Bowl, Players’ Player and Player of the Year at the recent Gers awards.

The winning goal was a clever finish after he controlled a pass in from Ryan Kent with his right, then sweetly curled the ball around an Aberdeen defender with a sublime side-footed finish into the bottom corner.

Morelos has bagged 17 goals from 28 appearances in the Ladbrokes Premiership this season so far and is one ahead of Aberdeen’s Sam Cosgrove with just two games of the season remaining.

There were ten goals up for the award from across the leageus and the winner selected by an online supporter vote.
