RANGERS will be without Jon Daly, Richard Foster and Cammy Bell again this weekend, but Ally McCoist is more hopeful that he will have the option of playing Kenny Miller against Queen of the South.

Richard Foster is hoping to be back running in the next week with Cammy Bell expected to miss at least a fortnight of the campaign with a shoulder injury, however Jon Daly is a little further on in his recuperation.

McCoist told rangers.co.uk “Big Jon is doing great, I’ve got to say. He’s a smashing lad who just gets on with his training and rehab. He’s been out doing some running recently which is good to see, so hopefully it won’t be too long until he’s back.

“Foster still has a little bit of a niggle so will miss out, however we’re a little bit more hopeful on Kenny Miller.”

With the team performing well and winning recent games, McCoist can afford each of his men time to make a full recovery before calling on them, with each player at different stages of their recovery.

He added: “All of the lads are progressing and some are at better stages than others. The next couple of days will dictate who will be available if any for the weekend against Queen of the South.”
