ALLY MCCOIST has made three changes to his side that beat St Mirren 3-1 two weeks ago for today’s SPL visit to Tynecastle.
With Steven Davis expected to out for the rest of the season with a groin injury it’s Rhys McCabe that takes the place of the club’s inspirational skipper in the manager’s attacking 4-3-3 formation.
Also missing this afternoon is Sasa Papac and Salim Kerkar who drops to the bench.
The Light Blues, of course, are looking to make it four wins on the bounce in the league and a back four of Kyle Bartley, Dorin Goian, Carlos Bocanegra and Wallace will protect Allan McGregor’s goal.
In midfield McCabe, who has been selected for Billy Stark’s Scotland under-21 squad for Wednesday night’s friendly at Easter Road against Italy, will be joined by Steven Whittaker on the right and Maurice Edu to his left.
Up top Lee McCulloch will again be asked to use his physical presence to cause problems for the Hearts backline and he will be supported in attack by Andy Little and Sone Aluko.
On the bench are Neil Alexander, Alejandro Bedoya, Ross Perry, Kerkar and Northern Irish trio David Healy, Andy Mitchell and Chris Hegarty.
