TAKE a look back at how Rangers on-loan payers got on at the weekend with our loan review.
MATT CROOKS – SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Matt will miss the rest of the season after picking up a knee injury against Bolton last weekend. The midfielder was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign after seeing a specialist this week.
His manager at Scunthorpe Graham Alexander said: “It is a blow to us because he has been fantastic, especially in the period when he has come into the team. He unfortunately got the diagnosis a couple of days ago and he is going to miss the rest of the season. He picked up a knee injury and will be out for 10 to 12 weeks so that rules him out participating this season.”
Matt will stay with the Iron until the end of the season before returning to Rangers as the League One side keep their bid for promotion alive.
ROSS MCCRORIE – DUMBARTON
After picking up three consecutive Man of the Match performances it was a disappointing weekend for Ross and his teammates as they lost 2-0 away to Dunfermline. That was the defender’s first defeat with the Sons after arriving on loan in late January. He played 90 minutes at the weekend. Crucially that loss meant Ian Durrant’s side slipped into the relegation play-off spot in the Championship on goal difference. There are three games left of the season.
RYAN HARDIE & JORDAN THOMPSON – RAITH ROVERS.
Raith picked up a good 2-0 win over promotion chasing Morton. Jordan was an unused substitute while Ryan played 64 minutes. Ryan had a 35 yard effort saved on the half hour mark but the striker failed to get on the scoresheet.
LIAM KELLY – LIVINGSTON
A week on from securing the League One title Liam kept his 12th clean sheet of the season as Livi beat Stenhousemuir 1-0. It was a sixth straight win for the Champions.
