RANGERS currently have a crop of players out on loan in England and Scotland. Here we round-up how they got on over the weekend.
MATT CROOKS – SCUNTHOPRE UNITED
Matt made his debut for the Iron in League One this Saturday after moving there on loan late last week. The 22-year-old came on in the 85th minute two minutes after Josh Morris had fired in the crucial winner for second placed Scunny in a 2-1 victory over Northampton. It leaves Crooks’ new side one point off table topping Sheffield United with a superior goal difference. Next up for Scunthorpe are mid table Charlton.
RYAN HARDIE – RAITH ROVERS
Ryan played 76th minutes of Raith’s 2-0 defeat from play-off hopefuls Morton. Raith Rovers were the last side to beat Morton in Greenock in March last year, but sadly for Ryan’s team there was never any danger of that result being repeated on this occasion. The striker had a good chance as the second-half started with Derek Gaston making a good save to deny the 19-year-old.
JORDAN THOMPSON – RAITH ROVERS
Jordan played the entirety of the defeat to Jim Duffy’s side. Thompson went close inside 20 minutes and had a chance late on but put his chance high and wide.
LIAM KELLY – LIVINGSTON
Liam’s game was postponed in League One. Livi still top the table though.
