The four ‘Loan Rangers’ had mixed success as their respective clubs over the weekend.

Darren Ramsay was the hero for Arbroath as he grabbed a winner for the Red Lichties in their Scottish Cup tie at Brora Rangers on Saturday.

The on-loan Ger struck just before the hour mark to seal a 2-1 victory and ensure they progressed to the Third Round.

Elsewhere, Andy Murdoch played the full 90 minutes as his Cowdenbeath side pulled off an excellent 3-0 success away to Stranraer.

The Blue Brazil were ahead after 11 minutes through Brad Donaldson before Kyle Miller and Robbie Buchanan drove home their advantage in the second half.

Meanwhile, Luca Gasparotto and Robbie Crawford went head to head on Saturday, with the Canadian’s Morton side coming out on top against Crawford’s Alloa.

Ross Forbes’ free-kick 10 minutes after the interval was enough to seal the victory for Jim Duffy’s side.

There was also an appearance for Ryan Sinnamon as his Falkirk side won 5-0 away to Dumbarton.

He replaced Aaron Muirhead with 12 minutes remaining to make his first appearance for the Bairns since joining them in August following a spell out with injury.
