RANGERS currently have six players out on loan across Scotland and the world – here we round-up their weekend.
TOM WALSH – ST MIRREN
Tom was a 24th minute substitute as St Mirren crashed to a 3-1 defeat to Raith Rovers on Saturday. Coming on for former Ger Calum Gallagher, Raith were already a goal up and he could do little as the Kirkcaldy side went on to seal a comfortable win.
RYAN HARDIE – ST MIRREN
Ryan grabbed his first goal in the colours of St Mirren on Saturday – but it was to be little more than a consolation. Scoring on the 63 minute mark, it wasn’t to spark a Buddies’ fightback against the club he spent time on loan at last season.
JORDAN THOMPSON – RAITH ROVERS
Jordan played 84 minutes on the other side of the pitch at his loan club Raith The result for the Starks Park outfit means they top the Championship table on goal difference ahead of Hibernian.
SCOTT ROBERTS – RAITH ROVERS
Scott was the player who replaced Jordan on 84 minutes for his first league appearance.
LIAM KELLY – LIVINGSTON
Liam started his sixth game for the Lions as they hit four at the Excelsior Stadium in a 4-2 victory over Airdrieonians. Nine goals in their opening two matches is a superb return, but they trail league-leaders Alloa by a single strike following their incredible start to the season.
FRASER AIRD – VANCOUVER WHITECAPS
Fraser was a 74th minute substitute for the Whitecaps, but he wasn’t able to prevent the Canadian side going down 2-1 to the San Jose Earthquakes.
