RANGERS have players out on-loan in Scotland, England and beyond. It was a quieter weekend with the international break, but here’s a look at how those who played got on…
Jason Holt – Fleetwood Town
Jason got another 90 minutes under his belt for Fleetwood on Saturday as they held Jack Ross’ Sunderland to a 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light. Paddy Madden opened the scoring for Town on nine kinutes but the Mackems equalised on 38 minutes for a share of the spoils, although Fleetwood were to miss a second half penalty.
Greg Docherty – Shrewsbury Town
Greg grabbed his first goal in English football on Saturday, scoring just a minute after coming off the bench for Shrewsbury at Portsmouth on Saturday. Docherty came on in the 73rd minute, but his goal wasn’t enough for the win, with Pompey equalising on 87 minutes through Brett Pittman.
Jak Alnwick – Scunthorpe United
Jak was beaten three times as Rochdale came from 3-1 down at Scunthorpe to draw 3-3. Lee Novak and Ryan Colclough made it 2-0 in the first half, before the visitors pulled it back to 2-1 on 52 minutes. Charlie Goode made it 3-1 two minutes later, but Rathbone made it 3-2 and Matthew Gillam made it all-square with seven minutes to play.
