RANGERS have players on-loan in Scotland, England and beyond. Here’s our review of how they performed at the weekend…
Jak Alnwick – Blackpool
Jak’s Blackpool made it three wins from three in English League One with victory over Oxford United at Bloomfield Road on Saturday. All three goals in the 2-1 win for ‘Pool came in the first half, leaving them and joint-top Lincoln the only two sides in the three EFL leagues with 100 per-cent records so far. They face Gillingham away tomorrow and then Rochdale away on Saturday.
Eduardo Herrera – Necaxa
Eduardo was an unused substitute for Necaxa in their 3-0 defeat of Santos Laguna in Liga MX yesterday. They sit ninth after five games and face Guadalajara next Sunday.
Robby McCrorie – Queen of the South
Robby enjoyed a free weekend with the Championship taking a break for the Betfred Cup second round. Queens travel to Stephen Kelly’s Ayr on Saturday.

Ross McCrorie – Portsmouth
Ross returned to action with Portsmouth on Saturday from the bench following his suspension. He came on in the 73rd minute at right-back in the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland. Pompey face Coventry at Fratton Park tomorrow and then have a free weekend this weekend.
Glenn Middleton – Hibernian
Glenn made his Hibernian debut as they overcame Morton in the Betfred Cup 5-3 after extra time. Glenn played 79 minutes of the match with Hibs now hosting St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Jordan Rossiter – Fleetwood Town
Jordan played the first 45 minutes for Fleetwood as they went down 3-2 at Doncaster. Trailing 2-1 at that point, Paddy Madden leveled things for Town but Doncaster went on to win the game in injury time. Fleetwood host Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow, and then Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
Stephen Kelly – Ayr United
With the Betfred Cup taking place at the weekend, Stephen had a free weekend. He comes up against Robby McCrorie’s Queen of the South at Somerset Park on Saturday.
Cammy Palmer – Partick Thistle
Cammy came on in the 85th minute for Thistle and played his part in extra time as they overcame Premiership Ross County in the Betfred Cup. Steven Saunders grabbed the winning goal on 114 minutes to secure a 3-2 win for Gary Caldwell’s side. The Jags travel to Greenock to face Morton on Friday.
