SEE how the current crop of Rangers players out on loan got on over the weekend.
MATT CROOKS – SCUNTHORPE UNITED
Matt made his second appearance for the Iron after moving there on loan. He played five minutes as a replacement for Ivan Toney, who is on loan for Newcastle United. The 23-year-old was part of a Scunny side who beat Port Vale 3-2 to stay top of League One.
RYAN HARIDE – RAITH ROVERS
After netting against Hearts in Raith’s Scottish Cup replay midweek Ryan was back on the scoresheet this weekend as he slotted home a right-footed shot into the bottom corner. The 19-year-old opened the scoring in the 27th minute but unfortunately for him it wasn’t to be the catalyst he had hoped as Rovers went down 3-1 to Dumbarton at Starks Park.
JORDAN THOMPSON – RAITH ROVERS
Jordan was an unused substitute in Raith’s league defeat. He played 79 minutes of their closely fought cup replay midweek at Tynecastle.
ROSS MCCRORIE – DUMBARTON
After signing on loan for the Sons on Friday Ross made his debut in a game which ended Dumbarton’s three game losing run. The 18-year-old came on in the 82nd minute.
LIAM KELLY – LIVINGSTON
Liam kept a second consecutive clean sheet as Livi defeated Brechin 3-0. That win takes his loan side 11 points clear at the top of League One.
JOSH JEFFRIES – STIRLING ALBION
Josh made his debut for League Two Sterling as they were defeated 4-1 by Annan Athletic. The forward played 76 minutes after being handed a start at his new side.
