RANGERS have players out on loan across England, Scotland, Mexico and beyond. Here we review their weekend.
FIRST TEAM LOANS
Greg Docherty – Shrewsbury Town
Greg played a pivotal win in his side’s last gasp win over fellow League One strugglers AFC Wimbledon. It was the midfielder’s cross which provided Luke Waterfall’s 89th minute winner in a 2-1 victory away from home. The Rangers player also had a chance to win it himself before Waterfall scored. Wimbeldon’s keeper had to be on the ball to keep a firm drive out from the 22-year-old.
Joe Dodoo – Blackpool
Joe played for the first time since October as he came on as a 79th minute sub. Unfortunately for the striker it wasn’t enough time to make an impact on the game, with Blackpool already 2-0 down to Bristol Rovers. Rovers went on to score another sending Pool into 13th in League One.
Jak Alnwick – Scunthorpe
Jak’s side fought back in the final half an hour of the game to come back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with Oxford United.

Jason Holt – Fleetwood Town
Jason played 69 minutes of Joey Barton’s heaviest defeat as Fleetwood boss so far, as they lost 3-0 away to Gillingham. The Rangers man had one chance on 53 minutes at 2-0 when he saw his left footed shot, in the box, blocked.
Lee Hodson – St Mirren
Lee couldn’t play against his parent club as Rangers defeated the Saints 2-0 in Paisley.
Carlos Pena – Necaxa, Mexico
Carlos wasn’t involved as Necaxa were beaten 6-2 by Pachuca in Liga MX.
Eduardo Herrera – Santos Laguna, Mexico
The striker didn’t feature as Santos Laguna’s race for the Liga MX title suffered a setback. They were defeated 2-1 by Queretaro.
Jamie Barjonas – Bury
Jamie was an unused sub as his loan side beat Macclesfield Town 4-1 in League Two. The win sends Bury into ninth.
Zak Rudden – Falkirk
Zak failed to add to his three loan goals he’s already bagged as his side lost 1-0 to Ayr United. The striker had a headed chance on the hour mark, which he put wide.
Kieran Wright – Raith Rovers
Kieran continued his recovery from a broken wrist which has been prevented him from playing since September.
