RANGERS have a number of players out on loan at present. Here’s a look at how they performed at the weekend..
Jamie Barjonas – Partick Thistle
Jamie made his first start for Partick Thistle on Saturday as they travelled to Dundee in the Championship.
A double from former Gers forward Kane Hemmings secured the three points for the home side, with the Jags sitting two points adrift of Alloa at the bottom of the league. Partick host Raith Rovers in the Challenge Cup semi-finals this weekend.
Greg Docherty – Hibernian
Greg got his first Hibs goal on Sunday as they progressed to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals with a 4-1 victory over BSC Glasgow.
He provided the assist for two of Marc McNulty’s three strikes, before rounding off the scoring for the afternoon with a goal himself in the final five minutes of the game. Hibs host Ross County in the league on Wednesday night.
Jamie Murphy – Burton Albion
Jamie made his fourth appearance for Burton as they drew 0-0 at home to Gillingham. They are back in action tomorrow night as they host Oxford United.
Stephen Kelly – Ayr United
Stephen played 90 minutes for Ayr as they were knocked out of the Scottish Cup 2-1 at home to Inverness on Saturday.
Ayr will host Greenock Morton this weekend as they continue their Championship play-off push.
Nicky Hogarth – Stirling Albion
Three goals in the last 20 minutes saw Queen’s Park come from behind to defeat Stirling Albion 3-1 at Forthbank on Saturday. Stirling travel to face Cowdenbeath this weekend.
