RANGERS can today confirm that Academy graduate Lewis Mayo has joined Partick Thistle on loan.

The 19 year-old defender, who is a Scotland under-19 international with seven appearances, will join Ian McCall’s men until the end of the season.

He will join up with the familiar faces of former Gers striker and academy player Zak Rudden, as well as midfielder Jamie Barjonas, who is also on loan from the Gers.

The defender currently has a slight strain and will join up with his new teammates after his rehabilitation.
