RANGERS are back in action at Ibrox today when they take on HJK Helsinki at 12noon and before kick-off fans will be able to buy a souvenir matchday programme from sellers outside the stadium.

The 68-page issue has a great interview with Finnish youngster Serge Atakaki. The 19-year-old Academy graduate, signed from FF Jaro, made his first-team debut for the Light Blues as a substitute against Motherwell in November but then suffered a cruel injury in the same game which he is still recovering from today.

In the programme Serge provides an update on his progress, an insight into Finnish football and he also chats about his incredible life story having been born in Congo before playing in a youth tournament in Finland, claiming asylum and subsequently being awarded full Finnish citizenship.

Also in the programme manager Steven Gerrard and captain James Tavernier provide their pre-match notes and there is an exclusive interview with Eighties star striker Robert Fleck, who remembers his UEFA Cup hat-trick against Finnish side Ilves Tampere at Ibrox in September ’86 and the unforgettable performance from Davie Cooper that evening.

Today’s match, of course, was organised a part of the deal which brought fans favourite Alfredo Morelos to Ibrox from HJK so we also reflect on the Colombian’s career and the terrific impact he has had at Rangers.

But that’s not all, in this afternoon’s issue there is a Q&A with talented Academy player Josh McPake, Classic Kits, Match Fast Facts, a Flashback photo, a tricky quiz to test your football knowledge and Junior Gers.

All this and much more can be found in today’s Rangers v HJK Helsinki souvenir matchday programme, price just £3.50.
