RANGERS make two changes for the visit of St Johnstone to Ibrox with Clint Hill and Jason Holt coming into the side.

The duo replaces Danny Wilson and Andy Halliday who will both start from the bench. Hill is returning to the side after missing the trip to Inverness with a “whiplash type” injury which forced him off with only half an hour played against Dundee. Holt came on for Halliday on Friday evening but will start ahead of him this evening.

Those changes mean Wes Foderingham retains his place in goal behind a back four of James Tavernier, Rob Kiernan, Hill and Lee Wallace.

The midfield three will be Holt, Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman while it remains unchanged up front with Barrie McKay, Kenny Miller and Martyn Waghorn all keeping their spots. Waghorn remains top scorer for the Gers after adding another to his tally in the Highlands on Friday to take him to 12 for the season.

Philippe Senderos misses out on a place in the squad through injury while Josh Windass completed 45 minutes for the Under 20s on Tuesday which will help build up his fitness according to Graeme Murty to allow the Light Blues to utilise the midfielder towards the end of the season.

Michael O’Halloran moves back onto the bench as Windass drops out. There is also room for the attacking threat of Harry Forrester and Joe Garner from the subs selection.

RANGERS: Foderingham, Tavernier, Kiernan, Hill, Wallace; Holt, Toral, Hyndman; McKay, Miller, Waghorn

SUBS: Alnwick, Wilson, Hodson, Halliday, Forrester, O’Halloran, Garner
