RANGERS are back in Ladbrokes Premiership action against Hearts at Ibrox tonight and there will be a bumper 84-page programme on sale outside the stadium in the build-up to kick-off.
Inside, fans can read an exclusive interview with on loan winger Ryan Kent who also features on the front cover.
The 22-year-old from Oldham has enjoyed an impressive season at Ibrox from his parent club Liverpool and he reflects on the past eight months north of the border and working under the management team of Steven Gerrard and Gary McAllister.
Also in the programme there are interviews with two former Ibrox stars from the Nine in a Row era – Stuart McCall and Mel Sterland.
McCall tells a few great stories from his trophy-laden playing days with the Light Blues after joining from Everton in 1991 while Sterland, who was only at the club for three months at the tail end of the 1988/89 season, remembers his short but sweet spell in Graeme Souness’ squad and his famous brace in the 4-0 win over the Jambos on 29 April 1989 which helped clinch the league title at Ibrox.
But that’s not all – manager Steven Gerrard and captain James Tavernier provide their programme notes ahead of the big match against Craig Levein’s men and Ibrox legend Mark Hateley answers a range of questions from fans for ‘On The Spot’.
There is also Andy Halliday’s ‘Getting To Know You’, Blueprints, On This Day, Match Fast Facts, a Q&A with former Gers players Charlie Miller and Bob Malcolm, a tricky quiz to test your football knowledge and Junior Gers.
All this and more can be found in tonight’s official 84-page Rangers v Hearts matchday programme, price just £3.50.
